The Luck of the Irish

Top of the Mornin’ to you! Today I am sharing my latest creation – my St. Patrick’s Day card.

I used one of Colorado Craft Company’s Lovely Legs set called St. Patrick’s Day. I thought the image of the leprechaun sitting on a large pot of gold was just too cute. The image was stamped using Brutus Monroe Raven ink and colored with various Copic markers. Once completely colored, I used a die cut from My Favorite Things to cut the image into a rectangle with a cross stitch pattern along the edge.

The word lucky is from Heffy Doodle. I cut it out of Tonic Studios Harvest Gold Mirror Cardstock.

Assembly of the card included a piece of Gina K Asparagus cardstock, cut in half and folded to create the card base. I cut a piece of Authentique St. Patrick’s Day paper. The leprechaun image was adhered to that paper. Before adhering to the cardbase, I wrapped some green and white twine around the card. Finally, the word lucky was added to the top. It was finished off with a few Nuvo Vintage Drops – Pioneer Green.

I hope your St. Patrick’s Day brings you lots of luck.
