It’s a Good Day to Be Happy

Good morning and welcome Unity fans!

Today I have a sweet little card for you. I fell in love with Phyllis Harris when I first saw her stamps. She has a way of capturing the innocence of children and animals. The little girl, in most of her images, reminds me of one of my nieces.

Lamb

Favorite Days is the featured stamp set for the day. I loved the sweet, cuddly lamb, enjoying a snuggle with the little girl. They look like they are best buds.

I colored the image using Zig Real Brush markers. I cut that image with a Pink Fresh Studios – Essentials. The pattern paper I used all came from Lawn Fawn Spring Fling Paper Pack. To finish the card off, I added the sentiment, “it’s a good day to be happy”. Finally, a few jewels from Studio Katia.

As a reminder, be sure to leave a comment (I really enjoyed reading yesterday’s comments), so you can have a chance to win a prize pack from Unity Stamp Company.

  1. I think we all love the awesome Phyllis Harris; she’s an amazing artist. As are all the wonderful Unity artists. This is such a sweet image, and precious. I love the red & teal coloring; one of my fave color combos for sure.

  2. This is adorable!! I’m just getting started and I love seeing these ideas and also what was used to make the cards. It really helps a beginner like me out. 🙂
